The Imagine Akron 2025 project began four years ago when focus groups were brought together to explore the possibilities for Downtown Akron over the next 25 years. Now that this has been done, a Board of Governors, a Cabinet on Infrastructure and a Cabinet on Events has been brought together in order to develop a specific downtown vision and help make that vision a reality.
