Fried Chicken and Latkes is a one-woman experience based on the life of actress Rain Pryor. Told through song and characters, the story takes us on a journey of racial identity, family, career, spiritual growth and love. Born to a white go-go dancer and comedian Richard Pryor, Rain Pryor grew up as a black and Jewish girl in Beverly Hills. Fried Chicken and Latkes gives us a glimpse into the universe of her life filled with poignant and hilarious twists and turns.
